It is very fun and easy to customize your Myspace page. You should make your MySpace profile as unique to your personality as you can. Your profile should represent you and your interests so it will be easy to find new friends that you have commonality with. Myspace is the number one social networking site, with great people so you wanna look good.

There are many different layouts and layout generators (discussed in last paragraph) for you to choose from when personalizing your MySpace page. This includes pretty layouts, polka dot layouts, sports layouts, celebrity layouts, religious layouts, simple layouts, and more! No matter what type of personality you have, it is very easy to spice up your MySpage page to make it stand out.

Once you discover a pre-made or generated MySpace layout that you want to put on your page, you will see a long code underneath it. All you have to do is copy the code, and then paste it in your “about me” section and save! That’s all there is to it. You can to do the same thing with all the other pre-made stuff such as banners, tweaks, games, contact tables and graphics that you find. They will more often then not, have the related code underneath the item.

There are a lot of MySpace fads that are gaining popularity. Some MySpace trends include: having music play lists, whore me codes, changing the color of scrollbars, comment boxes, hiding friends lists, buy me codes, and more! The whore me code is fun to use if you want your MySpace profile to become more popular.

The premade comment code will put a comment box on your MySpace page where your friends can leave you random comments anonymously. While it is a fun idea, you are at the mercy of your friends. The ‘music play list apps’ allows you to have numerous songs play on your site rather then the same one each time.

If you don’t want to discriminate amongst your friends and protect their identities, then you can use a ‘hide friends list code’ that will hide your top 8. It’s different then a private profile in that the only thing that is hidden is your friends list. Another alternative is to list your top 12 or 16 friends. There are MySpace codes for that too!

If you ever have trouble getting the code for your layout to work, a lot of MySpace sites offer extensive help. You can also use a code generator to enter specific attributes yourself, such as the layout color, the text, and even the scrollbar! The generator will then give you the exact coding to use based on the attributes you entered.

There are many sources out there that will help you make your MySpace page look sick (sick in a cool way)!

Home business owners everywhere are looking for ways to find new customers and turn a profit. Many have turned to web 2.0 as a way of doing it. Networking online using Tagged, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, Ryze, and YouTube are some of the options home business owners are turning to for free leads.

The idea is to meet people that are likeminded. Many work at home moms have found that networking online with social media allows them to have the social connection that working from home doesn’t allow. It also allows them to share tips and ideas on how to balance family responsabilities with their own business.

So, what is it about social media that makes things work. It’s the Personal Branding. Many, don’t understand personal branding. I’ve been doing it since 2002 and use it daily in my MOR Vacations business. When you think about real estate, who comes to mind? Donald Trump. When you think about TV talk shows, you think about Oprah, and when you think about basketball, you think about Michael Jordan.

When it comes to social media, YouTube has become one of the best places to market because it bring in a new way to become more real. Video. We all have our favorite family videos and now you can share those first steps your son takes, and show that you were there because of your home business.

It works well for those who are looking to build a travel business or become a home travel agent. While your having fun traveling with friends and family, you simply record the events with your video camera. When you get back home, you edit and post to YouTube.

Sharing what got you into a home business, also known as “why you joined” makes a great video to start with. Just share what got you interested in the company. MOR Vacations was a no brainer for me. I love to travel, and MOR Vacations perpetual leverage pay plan allows affiliates to earn a nice income from their team sales.

Sharing my 20 plus years of entrepreneurial knowledge was my objective in opening my YouTube channel. I host my website’s welcome video on YouTube, which brings me more views. I love my MOR Vacations YouTube channel

Putting YouTube on your marketing plan is important for your businesses success. Allow your customers and potential customer to get to know you better, it’s a great marketing tool, and you’ll see your network marketing, home party, and work from home business grow.

For those who are concerned with having privacy on MySpace, there are many codes and tweaks you can use to protect your identity from everyone who isn’t on your friends list. While there are many bands and clubs on MySpace who want their profiles to become very popular, some people still prefer to have their pages private and hidden. Thankfully there are many ways to do this.

You probably already know that you can set your page preference on ‘private’. Your profile will be hidden for the most part by people who aren’t on your friends list, although anyone can still see your contact table. If you’d prefer to not have strangers sending you a friend request or a PM, there are ‘hide contact table codes’ on MySpace graphics sites.

If you have no desire to hide your MySpace profile, but still wish to hide your friends, there are codes you can use to hide your friends list, even your top 8. This is especially a good idea if many of your top 8 friends are young; it will help hide their profiles from any untrustworthy adult that may come across your page.

It is also possible to hide your online status to keep everyone from knowing when exactly you’re online. You can edit your MySpace privacy settings or copy and paste a ‘hide status’ code from a MySpace resources site. This way the ‘online now’ status won’t ever show up on your profile. You can find and use codes that will hide your last login time as well. Not only can you stay invisible while surfing MySpace, but you can keep anyone from knowing exactly the last time you were on.

There are MySpace codes that can be used to hide your about me specifics and favorites. This way strangers won’t be able to look at specific areas of your profile. There are also codes you can use to change your ‘about me’ layout if you don’t like the default format that MySpace provides. There are MySpace quiz and survey sites that offer thousands of different ‘about me’ quizzes. You can fill them out and then add them to your profile.

You can also use a code that will hide all of your comments. This is a good idea if you don’t like everyone seeing all of your comments. There are ‘hide comments’ codes that you can copy and paste into your ‘about me’ editor box. Not only will a ‘hide comments’ code keep your comments concealed, but it will help your MySpace page load more quickly as well.

So now you have some ideas about how to keep your MySpace private. There are many privacy codes that will allow you to hide whatever part(s) of your profile you wish to keep invisible. There are many privacy codes to choose from, without hidding your entire profile. It’s still possible to keep your MySpace page unique and true to yourself while maintaining your privacy.

Web Hosting for Bloggers

August 7th, 2008
by Matt Hedges

There have been many crazes that swept internet users across the world into a frenzy and the latest is blogs and weblogs. For those who don’t know, a blog can be like a personal diary published online where the person can bare their soul and opinions to the world. If there is anything major in that person’s life or whatever emotion or feeling is filling their life, they can tell everyone about it. Publishing a blog is meant to be a true reflection of the bloggers’ life that they choose to share with the internet community and world. Although most blogs feature writing, they can also include images and videos about a whole host of topics.

Interaction and communal participation is welcomed in a blog and it provides an outlet for people to speak up and this leads many people to believe that blogs should be discussion led and based as opposed to angry and argumentative.

The amount of companies providing blog hosting services is extremely large. Basically, a company that hosts blogs is one that will host or make arrangements to have your blog contained on their server. Serious consideration about which type of host really needs to be made by those undertaking a blog for business reasons. Getting the right or wrong blog host can hugely impact on the success of the blog and if there is money or business at stake, this is obviously a vital decision. There is no doubt that a great blog is a massively useful marketing option for any firm.

Many firms realize that blogs are a worthwhile marketing tool and are employing professional blog writers to compile their blogs for them. The topic of the blog can be far reaching and may include topics like entertainment like movies or sports or product like electrical goods. However good the writer is though, the right host has to be found to increase the blogs likelihood of being effective.

There are many different blog providers but there are probably three main categories: blog hosts who work exclusively, providers of web hosting facilities and sites who resell web hosting space. If you haven’t decided between free or paid for service, then the web hosts and the exclusive blog host providers offer both types.

Blog Hosting Providers: Know Your Options as a Blogger

Your first step has to be to work out what your aims and ambitions are for your blog. The aims are liable to impact on the requirements of the blog and this will impact on your choice of host. f the blog is to capture your own feelings and has no greater business or technical needs, you will probably be happy with a minimal service. On the other hand, if it is a business venture, you will likely need a host of features and a different provider.

If using HTML is not for you and technical features and encoding puts you off then select a simple blog host that does not require technical know how. However, if you are capable of the technical issues, then choose a web host that will allow you the opportunity to use your skills to the maximum.

Free blog hosting providers incidentally offer you more exposure than the paid blog hosting providers. This becomes really important if you intend to use your blog to make money, because the free and popular blog hosts which remain on the top half of a search engine’s hit list, uses automatic encoding which allows greater exposure for your blog.

There are many positive reasons why you should choose a provider of web hosting facilities to look after your blog. The blog will still be controlled by you, including how it looks, interacts and many other features. As web hosting is slightly specialized and not too easy, they can beyond the knowledge of people who may not have the best grasp of HTML or other methods used for encoding. With the right person in charge of the site, there are endless marketing opportunities for the blog that is enabled by a provider of web hosts.

Choose your blog hosting provider prudently then, keeping in mind your technological as well as marketing strengths and weaknesses. If you feel you will be comfortable handling the HTML coding and other technological features and if you want to customize your blog, go for a paid web hosting company. But if you simply want to have a personal blog for your own thoughts, or even a simple blog to make money out of, go for a blog hosting company sans the hassles of HTML and other difficult technological features.

How do you go about having your blog hosted?

As far as blogging software is concerned, your choice is certainly between B2 Evolution or Wordpress. Once you have picked either of the two, the next decision that you are left with is the choice of a hosting company for your blog. We shall now swiftly go over some of the criteria that you must look at before you choose a blog host.

Determine if paid or free hosting is best for you: This choice is a primary one. There are always plus points of a free service but will it offer everything you need? There are a lot of adverts imposed on these sites and this may detract from the message you wish to give visitors. This is why if it can be afforded a paid host on a sharing system is the best option after you have chosen B2 or Wordpress.

Ask questions to see if your host offers compatibility with B2Evolution or Wordpress: A large number of blogs are coming with Wordpress or B2Evolution already installed which is helping to further the popularity of them. This feature removes much of the technical issues that installing the software would cause. This benefits the user by removing these issues from them. If you lack technical skills or want the easy option, select a blog host that has one of the software programs installed. With a number of clicks you will be all ready to run your own blog.

Which is the best host to choose: It can be a tough task to find the best deal from the huge range of B2 and Wordpress hosts. One way to gather information to make the best choice would be to surf the net for views, reviews and opinions of other forums and blogs. This information will allow you to make a choice based on bandwidth sizes and guarantees how much disk space can be relied upon to pricing and customer service issues. User reviews of your potential web and blog host suppliers can be vital in making a good choice.

To choose the best host, do not forget the reviews: Always read reviews, be they praising or critical of the sites that make up your short list. As an additional thought, if you believe your blog will be a success you may wish to consider a dedicated server to host you. Equally, before you decide between B2 or Wordpress, try and evaluate both products and get to know which your prefer. Other areas to be aware of include consumer satisfaction and any guarantees about uptime a host may promise. No matter what type of blog you want, make sure you make the right decision.
