Myspace Codes & Other Sick Stuff - Make Your Page Sick!
September 2nd, 2008 | by Karen Bird |It is very fun and easy to customize your Myspace page. You should make your MySpace profile as unique to your personality as you can. Your profile should represent you and your interests so it will be easy to find new friends that you have commonality with. Myspace is the number one social networking site, with great people so you wanna look good.
There are many different layouts and layout generators (discussed in last paragraph) for you to choose from when personalizing your MySpace page. This includes pretty layouts, polka dot layouts, sports layouts, celebrity layouts, religious layouts, simple layouts, and more! No matter what type of personality you have, it is very easy to spice up your MySpage page to make it stand out.
Once you discover a pre-made or generated MySpace layout that you want to put on your page, you will see a long code underneath it. All you have to do is copy the code, and then paste it in your “about me” section and save! That’s all there is to it. You can to do the same thing with all the other pre-made stuff such as banners, tweaks, games, contact tables and graphics that you find. They will more often then not, have the related code underneath the item.
There are a lot of MySpace fads that are gaining popularity. Some MySpace trends include: having music play lists, whore me codes, changing the color of scrollbars, comment boxes, hiding friends lists, buy me codes, and more! The whore me code is fun to use if you want your MySpace profile to become more popular.
The premade comment code will put a comment box on your MySpace page where your friends can leave you random comments anonymously. While it is a fun idea, you are at the mercy of your friends. The ‘music play list apps’ allows you to have numerous songs play on your site rather then the same one each time.
If you don’t want to discriminate amongst your friends and protect their identities, then you can use a ‘hide friends list code’ that will hide your top 8. It’s different then a private profile in that the only thing that is hidden is your friends list. Another alternative is to list your top 12 or 16 friends. There are MySpace codes for that too!
If you ever have trouble getting the code for your layout to work, a lot of MySpace sites offer extensive help. You can also use a code generator to enter specific attributes yourself, such as the layout color, the text, and even the scrollbar! The generator will then give you the exact coding to use based on the attributes you entered.
There are many sources out there that will help you make your MySpace page look sick (sick in a cool way)!
